Biography

Inam Karimov was born in 1977 in Baku.

From 2002 to 2004, he worked as an adviser at the Administration of the President, and from 2004 to 2012 as a senior adviser. From 2005 to 2012, he simultaneously served as Secretary of the Commission on Combating Corruption and Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption (GRECO). From 2012 to 2018, he was Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President, and from 2018 to 2023, he served as Minister of Agriculture.

Since 4 April 2023, he has been a judge and Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 24 June 2023, he has been Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council.
