Biography
Elrad Eldar oglu Seydiyev was born in 1985 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
He began working as an economist in the Central Bank’s Market Operations Department in February 2007. From 2008 to 2020, he held the positions of junior dealer, dealer, senior dealer and head of the division in the Market Operations Division of that department. From January 2020 to February 2025, he was director of the Central Bank’s Operations in Financial Markets Department.
Since 3 February 2025, he has been Chief Director of the Central Bank. He is married and has three children.
