Veteran footballer Vidadi Rzayev has assessed Kapaz’s performance in the Misli Premier League this season, saying the team’s successful results are no coincidence.
Rzayev said Kapaz had been unable to play the way it wanted in the opening rounds of the championship. One of the main reasons was that the squad had been restructured and its players needed time to adjust to one another.
The veteran footballer said the points the team had collected showed it deserved its successful results. He noted the coaching staff’s role in instilling a fighting spirit and determination in the players. Rzayev said that in earlier matches, players had tired and struggled physically from around the 70th minute, affecting results.
In his view, the problem appears to have been overcome in recent rounds: players continue to compete in the closing minutes and maintain their discipline. Rzayev stressed the importance of maintaining consistency and performing better in every subsequent match.
Kapaz are sixth in the Misli Premier League with 14 points after eight rounds.
