The name of another person involved in a violent crime at a Baku cafe that left one person dead has emerged.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing Oxu.az, that a person named Emin is alleged to have been among those who stabbed Ceyhun Miraghaev, who was killed. He is known by the nickname “Akhi Emin” and is said to have criminal inclinations. He is also reported to have been wounded with a knife.
Two other participants in the incident also sustained knife injuries, and their condition is described as satisfactory. Several others reportedly suffered injuries from punches, kicks and blunt objects.
Some details have emerged about a mass brawl in Baku that resulted in a death.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing Oxu.az, that the meeting at the scene was arranged by Ahmad Alizade, the son of MP Arzukhan Alizade.
He reportedly intended to reconcile the parties involved in a dispute.

Before the incident, five people were sitting in the room, drinking tea and smoking a hookah. Some time later, four more people entered and an argument broke out. One person was stabbed in the room. The fight then continued in the restaurant lobby.
According to the report, a man named Ceyhun, who was killed, ran into the lobby after stabbing one person.
The others followed him and caught up with him in the lobby. Ceyhun was killed at the scene.

Ahmad Alizade surrendered to police after the incident. He is known in criminal circles as “Yeraz Ahmad.”
The Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said police had identified and detained nine people involved in the incident. Operational search measures are ongoing.
