Suspect arrested for 10,000 manat theft in Baku's Khatai district

A theft involving 10,000 manat occurred at a retail store located in the Khatai district of Baku.

The Operative Information Center-OMM received confirmation of the incident from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

According to official reports, the suspect, identified as 32-year-old N. Gasimov, was apprehended by law enforcement officers. Gasimov, who was previously convicted, was employed at the store where the theft took place.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and the investigation is currently ongoing to determine all circumstances surrounding the crime.

Theft and property crimes are handled by the MIA, which maintains public order and security across Azerbaijan.
