Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has made his 750th official appearance for the club’s first team. The 34-year-old is the first Atletico Madrid player to reach the milestone.
Koke is the third player in Spanish football history to make at least 750 appearances for a single club. Only former Barcelona players Lionel Messi, with 778 appearances, and Xavi, with 767, had previously reached the mark.
An Atletico Madrid academy product, Koke has played for the first team since 2009. The midfielder has won the Spanish league title twice and the Europa League twice with the Madrid club.
