Erdogan speaks by phone with Aliyev, invites him to Ankara summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The two leaders discussed Türkiye-Azerbaijan bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.

Erdogan said the two countries would draw strength from their brotherly relations to take cooperation to a higher level.

The Turkish president again congratulated Azerbaijan on the 35th anniversary of its independence.

Erdogan also invited Ilham Aliyev to the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, to be held in Ankara.
