Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni has agreed to a new contract to continue leading the team, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reported.
The deal will run through the end of the 2030 World Cup. Some details of the contract have yet to be settled.
The Argentine Football Association offered Scaloni a new contract in September. He accepted the offer, and the parties now need to finalize the remaining details.
Scaloni has coached Argentina since 2018. Under his leadership, the team won the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the 2021 and 2024 Copa América titles and the 2022 Finalissima.
