Under Azerbaijan’s Labour Code, residents will have days off from Nov. 7 to 10 for Victory Day and State Flag Day.
There will be four consecutive non-working days in Azerbaijan in November.
Victory Day falls on Sunday, Nov. 8, this year, while State Flag Day is marked on Nov. 9, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
Under the Labour Code, when a public holiday coincides with a weekly rest day, the day off is moved to the next working day. As a result, the rest day that falls on Nov. 8 is to be observed on Nov. 10.
Therefore, Nov. 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be consecutive non-working days.
