Another express bus route is being introduced as part of support measures by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), based on an analysis aimed at improving public transport access following the separation of metro lines.

The M9 express route will begin operating on Sept. 13 to meet growing passenger demand from the Elmlar Akademiyasi and Nizami metro stations toward Gara Garayev, Neftchilar, Khalglar Dostlugu, Ahmadli and Hazi Aslanov stations.
The bus stop at Elmlar Akademiyasi metro station will be located on Huseyn Javid Avenue, while the stop at Hazi Aslanov metro station will be on Muhammad Hadi Street, opposite the metro station.
The buses will operate in line with the metro’s schedule, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight.
Express bus routes are intended to provide additional capacity on high-demand corridors and help passengers maintain convenient connections between metro stations during changes to the rail network.
