Bakıda avtobus tarifləri yeniləndi: Yeni qiymətlər - Siyahı

Updated cashless fare tariffs have been established for bus routes operating within Baku and its suburban areas.

The Azerbaijan Yerüstü Nəqliyyat Agentliyi (AYNA) informed Operative Information Center-OMM that the tariff adjustments apply specifically to routes where cashless payment systems are integrated and modern transport standards are met.

According to the official statement, these modern standards encompass electric buses, vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), and diesel-engine buses manufactured in 2025. In Baku, this regulation is currently applicable only to buses utilizing electric and CNG technologies, ensuring a transition toward more sustainable and efficient public transportation.

The modernization of the public transport fleet in Azerbaijan is part of a broader state strategy to improve urban mobility and reduce carbon emissions in the capital. By incentivizing the use of eco-friendly vehicles through these updated tariffs, the government aims to enhance the quality of service for commuters while promoting digital payment solutions across the national transport network.
