TV presenter Piers Morgan has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo’s response to criticism from Erik ten Hag. The former Manchester United manager had previously said the forward had not performed at a high level for the past seven or eight years.
In a video published on the “Football Uncensored” YouTube channel, Morgan said Ronaldo had scored more than 330 goals since leaving Real Madrid. He also noted that the Portuguese player had enjoyed success at Juventus and won several titles with the club.
Morgan said ten Hag’s remarks were criticisms driven by jealousy, as Ronaldo had also criticized him. The presenter said he asked the footballer what he thought about the comments.
“The only thing he said was: ‘Ten Hag isn’t worth discussing,’” Morgan said.
