Weather conditions in Azerbaijan are expected to change sharply in the coming days. Mild and relatively cool weather observed over the past few days will give way to heavy rain. According to the forecast, downpours may continue for more than a week.
"Operativ Məlumat Mərkəzi-OMM" reports that, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service, skies will be partly cloudy across the country today. Cloud cover may increase at times, but mostly dry weather is expected.
Temperatures will reach 18-23 degrees Celsius during the day. Southwesterly winds are expected, with wind speeds possibly increasing at times.
Mostly dry weather is also forecast in the regions. However, brief showers are possible in some mountainous and foothill areas, while hail and snow cannot be ruled out in remote mountainous areas. Temperatures in the regions will rise to 24 degrees Celsius.
Experts consider the current mild weather relatively favorable for weather-sensitive people. However, they recommend following the forecasts as heavy precipitation is expected in the coming days.
