Foggy conditions are currently being observed in Baku and some parts of the Absheron Peninsula.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the National Hydrometeorology Service issued the information.
The service said the fog was caused by surface cooling in the near-ground layer and falling air temperatures during the night.
Foggy weather occurs most often from December through April. Although its frequency generally decreases from May to October, the number of foggy days begins to rise gradually in November.
