Reports that people involved in an incident in the courtyard of School No. 225 had come from outside the school have been denied.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that school deputy principal Zenfira Nursalova said this in comments to oxu.az.

She said all those involved were students in grades 9-11 at the school. Only one of them was a graduate.

“There were no outsiders in the school courtyard. Only one of them was a graduate of our school. That person was outside the school at first and entered the courtyard after hearing the noise during the incident.

Neither the security guard nor the school administration knew the people who later gathered in the courtyard. An incident occurred, and police officers took those people away. Nothing else happened.

Claims that the children were not wearing school uniforms are also untrue. They were all in school clothes; they had simply put on their outerwear because it was break time,” Nursalova said.
