The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan has granted a request from the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation for the extradition of Kamoliddin Salijanovich Tadzhimatov, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic born in 1994, to face criminal charges.

According to the details provided, Tadzhimatov was placed on an international wanted list by Russian authorities for violating traffic and vehicle operation rules, which resulted in severe bodily harm to a victim due to negligence. He was located and detained in Azerbaijan in March 2026, and a preventive measure of arrest was imposed against him.
The accused individual was handed over to the competent authorities of the Russian Federation under the escort of a special convoy from the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
