The director of the Quba Olympic Sports Complex has been arrested.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing Report, that an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Directorate General under the Prosecutor General’s Office identified alleged unlawful actions by Rashid Orujov, director of Azeridmanservis LLC’s Quba Sports, Recreation, Training and Education Complex, and accountant Vidadi Shirinov.
Both men are accused of embezzlement and official misconduct. The damage in the case is reported to exceed half a million manats.
Binaqadi District Court ordered the pretrial detention of Orujov and Shirinov.
