Biography

In 1994, Zaur Ikram oglu Mammadov graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Construction Engineers with a degree in civil engineering, and in 2000 from the Faculty of Law of Baku State University. In 1998–2006, he worked at the Supreme Court as a courier, adviser to the secretariat, senior adviser to the administration, and executive secretary of the Presidium; in 2006–2008, he worked as a senior adviser in the Supreme Court’s Department for the Reception of Citizens, Registration and Consideration of Appeals.

In 2008–2011, he was a judge of the Sumgayit Local Economic Court, and in 2011–2017, a judge of the Sumgayit Administrative-Economic Court. Since 2017, he has been a judge of the Sumgayit Court of Appeal; subsequently, he served as Chairperson of the Commercial Collegium of that court.

By Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 14 October 2024, he was relieved of his position as Chairperson of the Commercial Collegium and appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Sumgayit Court of Appeal.
