Orkhan Faig oglu Nazarli

Orkhan Faig oglu Nazarli was born on 5 December 1984 in the city of Agdam.

He began his career in the private sector in 2003 and held various positions at one of the international audit companies operating in Azerbaijan from 2005 to 2015. In 2015–2016, he served as adviser to the Minister of Education on economic issues, and in 2016–2017 as Deputy Head of the Office of the Ministry of Education.

In 2018, he was appointed adviser to the Minister of Taxes, and since 2019 he also served as acting head of the Main Department of National Revenues of the Ministry of Taxes. By an Order of the President dated 13 May 2020, he was appointed Deputy Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy and was entrusted with acting as head of the Service until the appointment of its head.

By an Order of the President dated 6 May 2021, he was appointed Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy. He holds the rank of State Tax Service Counsellor of the 2nd degree. He is married and has three children.
