Ilkin Etibar oglu Valiyev

Ilkin Etibar oglu Valiyev was born on 28 May 1980 in the city of Ganja. He served in the Azerbaijani Army in 2001–2002.

From 2002 to 2004, he worked as a state tax inspector at the Main Department for Auditing Taxpayers of the Ministry of Taxes; from 2004 to 2009, as a senior state tax inspector at the International Relations Department; and from 2009 to 2010, as deputy head of that department. From 2010 to 2011, he served as deputy head of the Main Department for Organizing the State Registration of Commercial Legal Entities and Economic Analysis, and from 2011 to 2013, as head of the Department for Organizing the Compulsory Collection of Tax Debts.

From 2013 to 2016, he was head of the Main Department for Economic Analysis and State Registration of Business Entities of the Ministry of Taxes; in 2015, he served as deputy head of the Baku City Taxes Department; and in February–March 2016, as head of the Main Department for Analysis and Control of Tax Risks. By an Order of the President dated 29 March 2016, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Taxes.

By an Order of the President dated 13 May 2020, he was appointed Deputy Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy. He is a State Tax Service Counsellor of the 3rd degree. On 9 February 2015, he was awarded the medal “For Distinction in Public Service.” He is married and has two children.
