Tottenham manager De Zerbi rules out Micky van de Ven transfer

Tottenham Hotspur central defender Micky van de Ven continues to attract significant interest from Europe's leading football clubs. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media reports, clubs such as Barcelona and Liverpool are among those monitoring the Dutch player's situation.

Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi has reportedly designated the 25-year-old defender as "untouchable" in the current transfer market. The Italian manager views Van de Ven as a cornerstone of the team's long-term strategic development.

This stance mirrors the club's recent approach to Pedro Porro, who remained with the team and signed a contract extension despite substantial interest from other top-tier clubs. Industry experts suggest that the probability of a Micky van de Ven transfer this summer remains extremely low given the manager's firm position.

For context, Micky van de Ven has become a vital component of the Tottenham defensive line since his arrival. The specialized football portal Transfermarkt currently values the defender at 50 million euros, reflecting his high standing in the international transfer market.
