Why the need for Alvarez has diminished
In attack, Raphinha’s performances as a center-forward and Gabriel Jesus’ arrival at the club have reduced Barcelona’s need to sign Alvarez.
The media had previously reported that Barcelona would attempt to sign Alvarez again during the winter transfer window. Atletico Madrid did not allow the Argentine player to leave during the summer.
