Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi discussed the team’s goals for the season ahead of its English Premier League match against Leeds United in the 10th round.
“Is the objective this season to qualify for European competition? We have many goals, but right now I do not think we are capable of making such sharp transitions between matches. I think we are moving towards something special: it concerns both the atmosphere in the dressing room and the style of play we are developing.
The players have started playing much better than they did at the beginning of the season. You can win matches by relying solely on the players’ individual qualities, but we started work three weeks ago. At that point, we could easily have set ourselves any goal. Now is not the time to make any noticeable changes,” De Zerbi said, according to the London club’s official website.
Leeds United will host Tottenham on November 7. The match will kick off at 15:30 Moscow time.
