Monthly benefit for insured mothers with children under 3 to rise to 100 manats

The monthly benefit paid to insured mothers caring for children under the age of 3 is expected to increase sharply.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, this is set out in the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027,” discussed at a meeting of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship held today.

Under the draft, the per-person benefit for childcare for a child under the age of 3 would rise from 37 manats and 58 qepik to 100 manats.

This represents an increase of 62 manats and 42 qepik.
