The State Social Protection Fund (DSMF), under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, is projected to spend 9.2725 billion manats in 2027, up 9.3% from 2026.
Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said this at a meeting of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly)’s Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee, where lawmakers discussed the 2027 budget package, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
Under the document, 9.2205 billion manats of the spending, up 10.8%, is expected to be covered by the DSMF’s revenues, while 52 million manats, down 67.5%, would come from the Fund’s unused balance at the end of this year.
