Azerbaijan to allocate 4.9 billion manats for social protection in 2027

Azerbaijan's social protection and social security spending is projected to reach 4.916 billion manats in 2027.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the Ministry of Finance, that the figure is expected to be 0.9 percent higher than the approved forecast for 2026.

Azerbaijan's social protection budget covers state support programs and social security measures for eligible citizens. The allocation forms part of the government's broader budget planning for the upcoming year.

Budget revenues are expected to total 39.234 billion manats next year, while expenditures are projected at 42.4 billion manats.
