Police have detained Ilkin Abdullayev, who is suspected of defrauding citizens by using the name of a government institution.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to “Operative Information Center-OMM”, the investigation found that he had prepared and presented citizens with forged documents purportedly issued by a government institution authorizing the construction of facilities. He allegedly obtained more than 250,000 manats in total through fraud.
A criminal case has been opened at the Investigation and Inquiry Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The investigation is ongoing.
