Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to pay an official visit to China to hold high-level discussions with Chinese authorities.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing foreign media outlets, that the visit is slated for Tuesday. The primary focus of the mission is to conduct consultations regarding the escalating tensions in the Middle East.

During the visit, the foreign minister is expected to meet with his Chinese counterpart to discuss the current state of bilateral relations between Tehran and Beijing. The agenda also includes an exchange of views on significant regional and international developments, particularly the security situation in Western Asia.

China has historically maintained a strategic partnership with Iran and has frequently called for diplomatic solutions to regional conflicts. This visit occurs at a time when international actors are intensifying efforts to prevent further instability in the Middle East. Beijing continues to play a significant role in the region's geopolitical landscape, often acting as a key mediator and economic partner for various nations in the Persian Gulf.
