Galatasaray striker Viktor Osimhen has been sidelined by a knee injury. The Nigerian footballer strained the ligaments in his left knee during his team’s 2-0 Champions League win over Stuttgart.
According to the Turkish club’s press service, an MRI scan showed a loose fragment in the knee joint. Osimhen will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery tomorrow.
As a result, the striker will miss the match against Amedspor in the 11th round of the Turkish league. His recovery time has not been announced.
The 27-year-old Osimhen is Galatasaray’s top scorer this season, with 10 goals.
