Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen spoke about teammate Aleksey Batrakov after their 2-1 victory over Fenerbahce in the ninth round of the Turkish Super Lig.
Osimhen described Batrakov as an extraordinary and incredible footballer, as well as a wonderful person. He said Batrakov also creates a good atmosphere in the dressing room and is keen to learn about Turkey and Galatasaray and get to know the club’s legends better.
The striker said that although Batrakov had been with the team for only two months, he seemed as if he had been at the club for two years. Osimhen said he had watched previous matches to understand what Batrakov would do on the pitch and had observed how he worked with other forwards at his former clubs.
“He explained to me which runs I could make. If he were at another club, I would envy them. I hope he stays injury-free and continues to help us,” NTV Spor quoted Osimhen as saying.
