Armenia has cited different dates for signing a peace agreement.
Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this at a briefing with his Dutch counterpart, Tom Berendsen, in Baku today, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
Bayramov said Azerbaijan closely follows and takes note of all statements and remarks on the issue.
“I would like to reiterate that Azerbaijan’s position on this issue is firm and clear. Over the past year, Azerbaijan has taken many unilateral steps, which Armenia and everyone else have had the opportunity to see. Certain processes are under way in Armenia, and amending the Constitution is also in the interest of the Armenian authorities, for specific reasons. To conclude, I will say once again that Azerbaijan is always ready and committed to bringing the peace agreement issue to a conclusion,” he said.
