As a result of recent operational measures conducted by police officers across Azerbaijan, more than 47 kilograms of narcotic substances have been seized and removed from illicit circulation.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). Authorities confirmed that the operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and ensure public safety.
Furthermore, the Ministry reported the discovery and destruction of 16,345 wild-growing cannabis plants, with a total weight of 3.4 tons. The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to conduct regular raids and preventative operations to curb the illegal drug trade and cultivation within the Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasizing the state's commitment to maintaining law and order.
