Police in Gabala detained E. Hasratov for driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs.
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs told “Operative Information Center-OMM” that a medical examination confirmed he had used drugs.
The collected materials were submitted to the court.
By court order, E. Hasratov was placed under administrative arrest.
Driving under the influence of narcotic substances is an administrative offense in Azerbaijan and may result in detention and other penalties under the law. Medical examinations and court review are used to determine liability in such cases.
