A man who offered armed resistance to police officers was neutralized.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that M. Mirzayev, who was wanted on charges of illegal possession of firearms and fraud and had previously been convicted of intentional murder, illegally acquiring and possessing firearms, robbery, smuggling and illegal drug trafficking, resisted police officers with firearms during his arrest.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said police officers neutralized M. Mirzayev using their service weapons.
A Makarov pistol was found and seized at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
