Police officers found and seized eight assault rifles, one pistol and eight rifles in Baku and several regions of Azerbaijan on September 12 and 13.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed of this by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Police also found six ammunition magazines and 194 cartridges of various calibers.
The seizures were made during police operations conducted in the capital and across several regions. Such operations are aimed at identifying and removing illegally held weapons and ammunition from circulation, thereby strengthening public safety.
