Azerbaijan’s budget policy in 2027 will be implemented across several areas.
Finance Minister Sahil Babayev made the remarks at a meeting held today by the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship to discuss the 2027 budget package, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
“These include supporting sustainable economic growth; maintaining macroeconomic stability; fully funding public welfare and social measures; strengthening defense capabilities and security; developing the Garabagh and East Zangazur economic regions; expanding the use of digital technologies and innovation; supporting the development of the education and healthcare sectors; complying with the budget rule while maintaining fiscal discipline; ensuring targeted and efficient execution of budget spending through the state treasury; and accelerating the development of the real sector, among other areas,” he said.
