Procedures will be established to regulate the working and rest hours of aircraft crew members on planes operating commercial air services.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the matter is covered by amendments to the Labor Code and the Law “On Aviation” discussed at a Milli Majlis meeting today. Under the changes, flight duty time will begin when the aircraft crew reports to the airport to operate one or more consecutive flights.
It will continue until the aircraft has come to a complete stop after completing its final flight. Related amendments to the Labor Code have also been proposed. The bill was put to a vote and adopted in its third reading.
