Adil Kazimli and Zeha Isayeva will compete in taekwondo at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
Hikmat Samadov and Niyamaddin Pashayev, vice presidents of the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation (ATF), met with the athletes and their coaches. They discussed preparations and training ahead of the competition.
The coaching staff briefed the officials on the team’s readiness. Federation officials wished the athletes success in the upcoming competitions and said they were confident the pair would represent Azerbaijan well at the Olympic Games and compete for strong results.
Taekwondo competitions will be held from November 8 to 12. The Azerbaijani team will travel to Dakar on November 5.
