Biography
Zaur Rauf oglu Mikayilov was born in 1974 in the city of Shamakhi. In 1999, he graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration of Boğaziçi University in Türkiye.
From 1999 to 2009, he worked in the telecommunications sector and at mobile operators as a marketing manager, chief commercial officer and deputy chief executive officer. From 2009 to 2016, he served as general manager for facility operations, general manager of the business centre and general manager in the Real Estate Management Department at "PASHA Construction". From 2016 to 2018, he was general manager at "Agro Dairy" LLC, and from 2018 to 2021, he worked as executive director at "Azerbaijan Supermarkets" LLC.
From 2021 to 2023, he served as Chairman of "Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management" OJSC. On March 30, 2023, he was appointed Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency by Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
