Biography
Ilham Uzeyir oglu Bayramov was born in 1970 in Zangazur district. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences.
He began his career in Moscow in 1993. From 1995 to 1996, he worked at the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences; from 1996 to 1999, at the State Property Committee; and from 1999 to 2001, at the State Land Committee. In 2005, he was head of a department at the State Register of Real Estate Service, and from 2006 to 2009, he served as deputy head of that Service. From 2009 to 2013, he worked in the private sector in information and communication technologies.
From 2013 to 2014, he was head of the Information and Communication Technologies Department of “Azersu” OJSC; from 2014 to 2018, head of the staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and an adviser to the Minister; and from 2018 to 2021, Director of the Production and Operations Department at Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation OJSC. From 2021 until November 2024, he served as Director General of the “Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization” public legal entity. In 2016, he was awarded the “For Distinction in Public Service” medal.
On November 19, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency by a decree of the President.
