Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, has offered his condolences to Turkey’s National Defense Minister Yasar Guler.
The Ministry of Defense provided the information to Operative Information Center-OMM.
“I was deeply saddened to learn that a service member from the 7th Border Brigade Command in the Hakkari region was killed by gunfire while responding to a border violation. I pray to God to have mercy on the fallen service member, share in the grief of his loved ones and extend my deepest condolences to his family. May he rest in peace,” the message said.
