The US Embassy in Moscow warned on Saturday of a credible threat of a mass casualty event at the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve in the Russian capital, Anadolu Agency reported.
In a statement, the embassy said it was aware of a threat for “TODAY October 31” at the museum reserve, located at Dolskaya Ulitsa 1, Moscow, Russia 11569.
The US government was coordinating with Russian authorities in response, the embassy said. It urged people to avoid the museum, remain alert and stay away from crowds.
Russia’s Federal Security Service told state news agency Tass that it had received information from US partners about preparations for a “terrorist attack” in Moscow and that appropriate measures were being taken.
