Officials from the United States and Israel are currently reviewing options to implement new pressure mechanisms against Iran.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from The Telegraph, the two nations are discussing a potential containment strategy aimed at restricting Iran's economic capabilities.

Reports indicate that during a meeting held at the White House on July 28, US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu evaluated various military and non-military measures to isolate the Iranian regime. The discussions reportedly focused on the feasibility of a blockade model designed to halt Iran's import and export operations.

A high-ranking Israeli official noted that severely restricting Iran's access to international trade routes could deliver a significant blow to the country's economy.

It should be noted that US President Donald Trump has previously stated that he does not rule out the possibility of military operations against Iran. According to the US President, the option of military intervention remains on the table should Washington's demands not be met. Such high-level strategic coordination between the US and Israel underscores the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, where both nations have consistently sought to curb Iran's regional influence and nuclear ambitions through a combination of sanctions, diplomatic pressure, and security cooperation.
