Uniform dress rules for public schools do not apply to private schools

Uniform dress rules set for public general education institutions do not apply to private schools. However, private schools may establish their own rules in line with their charters.

"Operativ Məlumat Mərkəzi-OMM" Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov said, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.

He said parents may not view the distinction between public and private schools unambiguously.

The deputy minister believes that the principles of ensuring student safety, protecting the right to education and strengthening discipline within schools should be applied equally at all educational institutions. (APA)
