The Azerbaijan State Agency of Automobile Roads is carrying out repair and restoration work at the fourth kilometer of the Hokmali–Gobu–Guzdak road in Absheron district.
The agency said this, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
According to the information, earthworks are currently being carried out using specialized machinery brought to the site, with excavation and leveling of the roadbed ongoing.
The repair project also includes building a drainage system to strengthen the road surface and ensure its long-term service. Water pipes and storm-water grates will be installed to carry surface and rainwater away from the area.
The measures are intended to prevent water from accumulating on the road, reduce the risk of premature damage to the surface and ensure the safe movement of vehicles.
The repair and restoration work is expected to be completed shortly, after which vehicle traffic on the road will resume.
