Real Madrid TV has criticized La Liga president Javier Tebas over the club’s fixture schedule this week. The Madrid side played AEK away yesterday in the fourth round of the Champions League and lost 3-2. The match kicked off at 8:45 p.m. Moscow time.
Real Madrid will visit Valencia on Saturday, November 7, in the 12th round of the Spanish league. Kick-off is scheduled for 11 p.m. Moscow time.
A segment on Real Madrid TV said: “Taking to the field on Saturday, after Real’s Champions League match today, simply makes no sense. This match was scheduled this way thanks to Tebas — he treats us as if we were from Lithuania. Mourinho has confidence in all his players. Although it causes concern for many, Real are playing better and better. Mourinho’s team is performing much better every day and gradually improving.”
Tebas had earlier said that Real Madrid opposed everything La Liga did and was harming all the clubs.
