Qatari mediators returned to Tehran today to continue talks aimed at reaching an agreement between the United States and Iran.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Reuters published the information, citing sources.

An unnamed source said the mediation talks had been coordinated with the United States.

Earlier reports said Qatar presented Iran with a new draft peace agreement on October 25. However, a senior Iranian official called the proposals unacceptable and said Tehran had no intention of changing its position on the nuclear issue.

Washington wants nuclear issues included on the agenda from the outset of negotiations. Tehran, meanwhile, is demanding that the United States first lift the blockade imposed on Iranian ports and remove sanctions on Iranian oil exports.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran was continuing close contacts with mediators to discuss proposals that could help implement a seven-day plan to end the war in the Middle East.
