Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there is no military solution to the war launched by the United States against the Islamic Republic, during a meeting with foreign ambassadors.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing foreign media.
“If our enemies once again choose military confrontation, our response will be stronger than before, and we will defend ourselves with greater force. Just as there is no military solution, there is no solution through new sanctions,” Araghchi said.
The minister added that only negotiations based on justice and impartiality could end the conflict.
In June, the United States and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding with Pakistan’s mediation. Talks later stalled over disagreements on security guarantees and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
