Azərbaycan Prezidenti: Biz bu gün beynəlxalq diqqətin çatışmamasından əziyyət çəkirik

President Ilham Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan currently faces a lack of international attention regarding its historical challenges and the consequences of past conflicts. The head of state emphasized that living in peace is a unique global experience, yet millions of people continue to suffer from ethnic cleansing worldwide, noting that 20 percent of Azerbaijan's territory remained under occupation for 30 years.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks during his speech at the opening ceremony of the 13th Global Baku Forum. "We are suffering from a lack of international attention today," the head of state said, adding that Azerbaijan has witnessed a selective approach from certain international actors who were responsible for dealing with the conflict.

The Global Baku Forum, organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, has become a premier platform for world leaders, Nobel laureates, and prominent diplomats to discuss pressing global issues. This year's forum focuses on regional security, the future of international relations, and the necessity of upholding international law. Azerbaijan has consistently advocated for the principles of territorial integrity and the elimination of double standards in global diplomacy, particularly following the restoration of its sovereignty over the Garabagh region.
