New directors appointed to TABIB medical institutions

New directors have been appointed to two medical institutions under the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) in Azerbaijan.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, by relevant orders, Javid Nazim oglu Pashayev has been appointed as the director of the Sabunchu Medical Center, and Leylan Mahammadali qizi Nasirova has been appointed as the director of the Beylagan District Central Hospital.

Javid Pashayev graduated from the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) in 2007 and completed his internship in anesthesiology and intensive care at the Clinical Medical Center. He also studied at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan between 2022 and 2025. Throughout his career, Pashayev has held various medical and administrative roles, including acting director at Yeni Klinika and director of the AMU Educational-Surgical Clinic. He was awarded a Honorary Decree for his service during the Patriotic War in 2020 and the "Səhiyyə əlaçısı" (Excellent in Healthcare) badge for his work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Leylan Nasirova graduated from AMU in 2005 and completed her internship in neurology. She has extensive experience working at the Beylagan District Central Hospital and the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, where she served as the chairperson of the medical-social expert commission.

TABIB, which regulates and manages state-run medical institutions in Azerbaijan, continues to implement structural and administrative reforms to enhance the quality of healthcare services and optimize management across regional and capital-based medical facilities.
